Morgan County hosts dinner, awards scholarships

The Morgan County Farm Bureau hosted its annual Pork Chop BBQ on June 3.

More than 130 people enjoyed fresh grilled pork chops, side dishes and homemade desserts and ice cream hosted by Morgan County Farm Bureau Youth and its board of trustees.

During the dinner the Farm Bureau awarded Austin Davis, Luke Morrow and Elizabeth Strode with scholarships. Each of the scholarship winners will receive $300 upon completion of one year of college.
