The September/October issue will feature articles on how to start a community garden, the importance of eating breakfast, fish and seafood recipes and a look at some upcoming county Farm Bureau fall farm tours. Feature stories tell about some southern Ohio tobacco farms that have become vineyards, and how biotechnology is changing the way corn is being produced. Our Ohio television will be aired on NBC4 in central Ohio Aug. 20 at 1 p.m. The show focuses on products grown in Ohio and includes the Our Ohio television segments on grapes, apples and Ohio’s salad bowl. Ohio Farm Bureau is working to present additional encore shows on additional television stations statewide. |
