Sporting a pink cowgirl hat, sundress and matching pink flip-flops, 6year-old Brooklyn Ware bit her lip and pedaled hard to pull a sled that weighed more than her. Ware managed to pull 50 pounds, and she only weighs 41. Ware took part in the Seneca County Farm Bureau annual Kiddie Tractor pull at the Seneca County Fair. Although Ware did not place in the top three of her weight class, she managed to pull the sled more than 12 feet. Ware was among 50 other children who came out in the extreme heat on July 29 to compete. All children were rewarded with ribbons, ice cream and a safety coloring book. "Some of the kids did stretches prior to the event," said Darren Frank, OFBF organization director for Seneca County. "They were so excited!" In addition, Frank said some kids practiced at home prior to the big pull on little tractors. Caption: Brooklyn Ware, 6, tries her best in the Seneca County Farm Bureau's Kiddie Tractor Pull.
