Natalie Walston

Communications specialist

Natalie Walston joined the Ohio Farm Bureau staff in April 2006. She is responsible for writing and photography for Buckeye Farm News and Our Ohio, and she writes and produces radio stories for Town Hall Ohio. She also manages front-page content for OFBF’s Web site, www.ofbf.org, and assists with media inquiries.

Previously she was a reporter with WCMH-TV in Columbus and has been an anchor and reporter at various public radio stations in the state where she often covered issues at the Ohio Statehouse.

A native of Marion County, she has a bachelor’s degree in English from Ohio State University. She is former vice president of the Ohio Associated Press Broadcasters, served as honorary chairwoman for a charity multiple sclerosis walk in Marion and was involved with

Get Behind the Badge, a charity that provides assistance to families of fallen law enforcement officers. She has a son, Tyler, and resides in Columbus.

Since working at Ohio Farm Bureau, "I have a new appreciation for locally grown food and the hardworking farmers in the state," she said. "Plus I get to work with some very wonderful, talented and caring people."
