Our Ohio – Year One in Review
Twenty-six episodes of the television series Our Ohio have aired. OFBF volunteers made approximately 364 Our Ohio presentations that took place at various events and meetings. In all, volunteer projects reached more than 138,198 people last year. Our Ohio radio commercials aired 2,000 times on 23 stations, and Our Ohio made headlines in 67 Ohio newspapers. Season two of Our Ohio will appear on all 12 public television stations across the state, beginning Oct. 7. Visit OurOhio.org for air dates and times.

Out and About
Our Ohio has had a presence at several fall events and will continue through October: Antiques & Gardeners’ Fair at Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus; Fall-o-Ween & Farm Festival at Coney Island in Cincinnati; Farm Science Review in London; Nationwide Customer Appreciation Day in Columbus; the Paul Bunyan Festival in Cambridge, and the NBC4 Health and Fitness Expo in Columbus. Visitors to the events were able to pick up materials regarding the Our Ohio brand and sign up for the free e-newsletter.

Our Ohio advertising
In late September and early October, Our Ohio commercials aired in the Toledo market and surrounding counties. The commercials appeared on WNWO (NBC), WTOL (CBS) and WTVG (ABC) during morning and evening news, The Martha Stewart Show and Oprah. The commercials encouraged viewers to visit the OurOhio.org Web site and watch the TV show on WGTE and WBGU.
