Cakes, pies and trucks, oh my!

A first prize-winning chocolate peanut butter cheesecake wasn't left for long after the Clermont County Farm Bureau bought it at a cake auction. The auction is held annually at that county's fair. This is an example of one of many ways Clermont County Farm Bureau supports activities at the fairgrounds; it also buys a pie during a similar auction.

The county Farm Bureau sponsored a booth manned by P&E Committee Chair Linda McKinley, and the Monday night Farm Tractor and Truck Pull. Adams, Brown and Clermont counties Organization Director Heather Utter said the Clermont County Farm Bureau creates slogans that are read through the daytime and evening pulls.

Utter said county volunteers and staff made signs that they hung throughout the fairgrounds displaying facts about the Clermont County Farm Bureau.
