Published on 11/13/2006

Our Ohio season one available to Time Warner cable customers

In Ohio Farm Bureau’s continued effort to promote agriculture to a larger audience, the organization has entered into an agreement with Time Warner Cable to offer Our Ohio as part of Time Warner’s On Demand programming. Time Warner Cable digital customers can watch Our Ohio at Ohio On Demand Channel 1111.

On Demand will offer shows from the 2005 season available to digital customers any time, any day through On Demand technology. The programs will air on Ohio On Demand channels carried across the state from Time Warner Cable’s mid-Ohio, northeast Ohio and southwest Ohio divisions.

To view programs, customers may tune to channel 1111 and select the "Lifestyle" category. Our Ohio programs will be available under the "Destination Ohio" tab and will feature two new programs each month. Once selected, customers may play, fast forward, rewind, pause and rewatch the program using the remote control.

"We're pleased that Time Warner will be making Our Ohio programming even more accessible to Ohioans. Sharing stories about Ohio's people, products, values and culture provides viewers with insight into what makes Ohio a great place to live and work," said OFBF Vice President of Communications Kurt Ely.

Time Warner Cable Ohio On Demand Channel 1111 is a digital channel created and offered exclusively by Time Warner Cable. It features all local programming available On Demand, including local newscasts, local sports, travel, arts, discussion programs and more.

The 2006-2007 season of Our Ohio premiered the week of Oct. 7 and is available on local public television stations. Viewers may check local listings for days and times in their area or visit www.OurOhio.org.
