OFBF leaders, Nationwide Board Council visit crash-test facilityPublished on 11/13/2006![]() Members of the Nationwide Insurance Board Council visited the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) last month to learn how its vehicle crash tests and findings are used by auto manufacturers, safety advocates and consumers to avoid highway accidents, injuries and deaths. OFBF President Bob Peterson attended as OFBF’s representative on the board council, along with Executive Vice President Jack Fisher. "We need to work with Nationwide to incorporate more of the useful information produced at the institute in our safety programs within Ohio Farm Bureau," said Fisher following the visit. The institute is a nonprofit research and educational organization focused on improving highway safety and reducing life-threatening crashes. You can learn more about IIHS at their Web site.
