The second annual Ohio Farm Bureau Rural-Urban Community Auction grossed $8,300 to support OFB Foundation programs and activities. The Foundation will use the money to award grants for programs and activities that focus on economics, community development, agribusiness development, education, public awareness, community outreach or environmental issues involving agriculture and its impact on the community.

More than 82 items were up for bid including weekend getaway packages, Ohio State memorabilia and baskets featuring unique items from Ohio counties. Bidding was initiated at a live, online auction and concluded during the annual meeting.

OFBF also hosted a hospitality area and trade show during the annual meeting. Health care providers were on hand to offer flu shots, massages and blood pressure screenings. Associations offered displays and personnel were available to meet participants and answer questions, such as the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, pictured here meeting with Warren McClintock, right, from Trumbull County.
