Ward named new Northeast Region supervisorPublished on 12/11/2006![]() Connie Ward has been named supervisor of Ohio Farm Bureau’s newly formed Northeast Region (see corporate reorganization story on Page 1). For more than six years, Ward was organization director for Erie, Huron and Lorain counties. As regional supervisor, she will oversee organization directors in Ashland, Ashtabula, Carroll, Columbiana, Cuyahoga, Erie, Geauga, Harrison, Huron, Jefferson, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Trumbull and Tuscarawas counties. Ward received a bachelor’s degree in agriculture in 1991 from Ohio State University and is currently attending Ashland University to get a master’s degree in business administration. Before joining Farm Bureau in 1999, she was plant manager at American Colors Inc. and later a self-employed manufacturing consultant. She was Erie County auditor from 2005 until her recent return to Farm Bureau. Ward helps with her family’s Berlin Heights farm operation, which raises corn, soybeans and wheat. "I am thrilled to be returning to Farm Bureau to work with the dedicated volunteers and staff who are tirelessly striving to ensure the viability of agriculture in the state of Ohio," she said. | |
