She also is a member of the Tuscarawas County Cattlemen’s Association and Tuscarawas County Pork Producers and a board member of the Norma Johnson Center. The Johns attend Zion Lutheran Church in Stone Creek, where Mary Jane has been parish treasurer for 35 years. They are the parents of two children and have two grandchildren. "I’m a firm believer anyone who lives rurally is a potential member. Together, united, we have a voice. By ourselves, we don’t. We need to have the rural view represented and Farm Bureau is the way to go," she said. | |
