e-newsletter rave reviews
The Our Ohio e-newsletter is sent via e-mail to approximately 17,000 subscribers. It is a monthly recap of seasonal stories of interest from the OurOhio.org Web site and provides programming reminders about the Our Ohio television series. A survey was included in the January Our Ohio edition, and the responses were very positive. Many online readers said they enjoyed receiving the newsletter and that Our Ohio helped them know more about our state and things to see and do. Here are some of the comments received: - "Although I am not in farming, I like it a lot. The photography that goes with each article is always great and really illustrates the beauty of our great state. I also receive the print copy which my wife and I enjoy reading. I enjoy receiving the newsletter and reading about events in my home state of Ohio. I like reading about the various festivals. I also enjoy the recipes and other seasonal items."
- "Watching OurOhio (TV) is such a delight. Your program provides so many helpful ideas from the garden to the kitchen and highlights the hidden treasures of our wonderful state. Thank you."
- "I am a fourth grade teacher in Dublin, Ohio. In fourth grade our main focus in Social Studies is Ohio; the history, the natural resources, the economics, the government. Our Ohio both the newsletter and the Web site are extremely helpful to supplying me with updated and interesting information put in a nonfiction, enjoyable format. I check the program on TV as well as the Web site regularly. Thank you for your hard work that makes my students appreciate the state that they live in."
