Doug Foxx
Director of Political Education

Doug Foxx joined the Ohio Farm Bureau staff as organization director in 2003; he became director of political education in August 2006.

In his role, he manages OFBF’s Agriculture for Good Government Political Action Committee, provides leadership to county government affairs and grassroots programming, works with business and other groups in building coalition efforts, represents the organization at political events, conducts and manages education programs for members and candidates and manages candidate evaluation activities. As organization director he served Allen, Auglaize, Mercer and Shelby counties.

He is a graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture and has a master’s degree in business administration from Bluffton University. Growing up, the Wayne County native raised 4-H market hogs and veal calves on a family friend’s farm just outside Wooster.

During college he completed internships with Deere & Co. Columbus Sales Branch and Training Center; the Ohio Expositions Commission; Ohio State’s College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Development Office, and served as university ambassador for the Office of Admissions.

He attends Vineyard Church of Columbus, serves on the Ohio Staters Alumni Society board of directors and resides in Fairfield County.

"Through my experiences in 4-H and Farm Bureau, agriculture has always been very good to me, and I’ve been blessed in enjoying the best of both city and country life. By sharing agriculture’s story with government, political and business leaders, my work at Farm Bureau is incredibly rewarding," he said.
