ProfilesPublished on 03/22/2007 Staff Heather Utter joined the Ohio Farm Bureau staff in 2001 as organization director. In her role she serves as a liaison between the county Farm Bureaus and Ohio Farm Bureau. She assists the counties as they develop and implement programs that strengthen the organization and enhance the ability to serve members. The Brown County native began her career with Fidelity Investments as a marketing analyst. She has a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness and business from Wilmington College. She was raised on a 200-head Jersey dairy and tobacco farm. As a youth, she was involved in FFA, earning the American FFA degree and took dairy cattle, hogs and tobacco projects in 4-H. She and her husband Shannon have three children and are members of the Shinkle Ridge Church of Christ. She also is a soccer coach. "Agriculture has always been my life; working with Farm Bureau’s volunteers as well as being able to promote the agriculture industry is what makes my job so rewarding to me," she said. | |
