George Voinovich held his annual Farm Forum at the Ohio Department of Agriculture. Brown is a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee and will be directly involved in drafting the upcoming farm bill. Here, Brown (l) is seen talking with Champaign County Farm Bureau President Tom Nisonger at the Dull Homestead and Farm in Montgomery County. Brown said he wanted to learn how the government can help farmers and when it should stay out of their way. Brown questioned farmers on subsidy payments, conservation programs and the impacts of high corn prices. | |
