TV show highlights changes in agriculture

Published on 05/17/2007

One thing is for sure about farming, it never stays the same. There are always conditions that cause those in agriculture to make adjustments, whether it’s the market, regulations or even legislation. On the next Ohio Farm and Country, we take a look at things that are having an impact on the agricultural industry: the price farmers are being paid for corn and how it affects everyone in the rural community; the changing landscape in Ohio and ways of protecting the state’s prime farmland as well as how farmers in southern Ohio are changing their entire operations in order to keep farming. And Joe Cornely sits down with the governor to discuss the state’s budget and how it will impact agriculture. Ohio Farm and Country welcomes Andy Vance and Lindsay Hill of the ABN and Buckeye Ag Radio Network as hosts. The program will air June 13, at 6:30 p.m. on RFD-TV.
