Guernsey County pays $1,500 reward

Guernsey County Farm Bureau recently paid a $1,500 property protection program reward to Beverly Moore for information she provided that led to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for stealing a miniature horse from Farm Bureau member Julie Urdak in April 2006. After finding her gate open and her horse gone, Urdak used the Farm Bureau $1,500 reward program as an advertisement on the local radio. She was suspicious that a crime had been committed since the gate was pushed in, rather than out as it would have been if the horse had been able to open it. The stolen horse was found that morning. Pictured left to right are Sheriff Mike McCauley, Moore, Southeast Region Supervisor Tiffany Pattison, Julie Urdak and her daughter Liberty Pennington and Guernsey County Farm Bureau President Bud Lamson.
