ProfilesPublished on 06/14/2007 Staff Patricia Rutter joined the staff of Ohio Farm Bureau in 2006. In her role, she handles the in-house and outsourced printed materials for the state office. "We are presently expanding our services to the county offices in hopes of giving them a wider variety of personalized products," she said. She has worked in the printing industry for more than 30 years. She is a native of Fayette County and a graduate of Washington Senior High School in Washington Court House, which is her hometown. "I was a Cooperative Office Education student and my first job was in a small print shop. "My father returned to farming when he came back from Korea to start a family. Hard times prevailed and we moved to Washington Court House when I was in grade school. My grandfather was a dairy farmer, so I was fortunate in that I was still exposed to farm life throughout my childhood. I strongly believe that exposure to the farming community while growing up has greatly affected my approach to family and working relationships," she said. She is married to Carl and is the mother of two sons and a stepson. "I love working with a dedicated group of people who are so focused on improving the communication and economic relationship between farmers and consumers. I am very grateful to be a small part of that mission," she said. | |
