COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Are animals to be “used” by humans or do they have the right to exist outside their relationship to people? The role of animals in society and the consequences of our attitudes toward them will be discussed on Town Hall Ohio, this Sunday at 7 a.m. on WTVN Radio.

Animal scientists Drs. Pauleen Bennett and Steve Boyles of Ohio State University and livestock advocate David White of the Ohio Farm Bureau will talk about how humans relate to animals, the differences between animal welfare and animal rights and the growing interest in animal-related subjects. Also appearing on the program will be Matt Prescott of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

Town Hall Ohio is Ohio Farm Bureau’s weekly public affairs and issues discussion program. The broadcast airs with the support of Nationwide Insurance. WTVN Radio is located at 610 on the AM dial.
