Electric re-regulation to be examined on Town Hall Ohio broadcast

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Utility companies, utility customers and the state government are all weighing in on the topic of re-regulating Ohio's electric utility industry. Gov. Ted Strickland's top energy adviser, Mark Shanahan, will address a wide range of electricity-related subjects this Sunday on Town Hall Ohio, which airs at 7 a.m. on WTVN Radio.

Shanahan will be joined by Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) Director of Energy Services Dale Arnold to discuss what's at stake for utility companies and their customers. Energy prices, environmental protection and economic development issues will be included in the conversation.

Town Hall Ohio is a weekly public affairs discussion forum. It is produced by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation with support provided by Nationwide Insurance. WTVN is located at 610 on the AM dial.
