COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) has named Katie Grove as organization director for Delaware, Franklin and Union counties. She moves to the position after serving as organization director for Butler, Hamilton, Montgomery and Warren counties since 2005.

Among numerous duties, Grove works with county Farm Bureaus to involve, develop and enhance leaders while providing objectives to improve the effectiveness of the organization. She also cultivates relationships with other organizations, governmental agencies, cooperatives and community groups in each county.

Grove holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University in agricultural education and animal science with a minor in agricultural production. She grew up on a small pure-breed hog farm in Richland County and holds an American FFA degree.

"Katie's past Farm Bureau experience will serve her well in this new position as she works with Delaware, Franklin and Union County Farm Bureau leaders to forward the vision of the Ohio Farm Bureau,” said OFBF Senior Director of Field Communications John Wargowsky.
