Food prices to be subject of WTVN broadcast

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - What goes into setting the price of food and where prices are headed will be the topic of discussion this week on Town Hall Ohio.

Tom Jackson of the Ohio Grocers Association, Stan Ernst of Ohio State University and farmer Marcie Williams will examine factors from farm to table that affect what we buy and how much we pay for it. U.S. Department of Agriculture economist Ephraim Leibtag will report on 2007 food price trends and forecast 2008 prices, and Ohio Farm Bureau's Pat Petzel will analyze the affordability of food.

The program airs at 7 a.m. this Sunday on WTVN Radio, which is located at 610 on the AM dial.
