Troyer re-elected to Farm Bureau State Board

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Andra Troyer of London was re-elected to her second three-year term on the board of trustees for Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) during the organization’s annual meeting Nov. 28 to 30 in Columbus. As Southwest Women’s Trustee, Troyer represents Farm Bureau members from 22 Ohio counties.

Troyer and her husband, Richard, are grain farmers and are the parents of one child, Jared, who is active in the family farming operation. She also has been a self-employed small businessperson for 20 years. She has been active in the Madison County Farm Bureau serving as president, membership chairperson and agricultural ecology chairperson. Troyer also has been extensively involved with Darby watershed and other Madison County planning issues. She serves on the Swank Rural Urban Affairs Advisory Board at Ohio State University. She is a graduate of Jonathan Alder High School.

Ohio Farm Bureau Federation is the state’s largest farm organization. First organized in 1919, its current membership stands at more than 230,000 including more than 60,000 farmer members. The organization is influential in public policy and public relations, working as an advocate for Ohio’s farm families, as well as providing various other member benefit services.
