Davis re-elected to Farm Bureau State BoardPublished on 11/30/2007 For Immediate Release COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Kim Davis of Carrollton was re-elected to her second three-year term as a state trustee of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) during the organization’s annual meeting Nov. 28 to 30 in Columbus. She represents Farm Bureau members in District 13, which consists of Carroll, Harrison, Jefferson and Tuscarawas counties. Davis has been active in the Carroll County Farm Bureau where she serves on the county board and has been involved in the membership, marketing and young farmer programs. She is a former feed representative for Countrymark Cooperative and remains active with the Ohio Cattlemen’s Association. Davis and her husband, Todd, farm along with Todd’s parents; they raise beef cattle and produce hay. Davis has a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Ohio State University. She and her husband are the parents of three children and are members of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Ohio Farm Bureau Federation is the state’s largest farm organization. First organized in 1919, its current membership stands at more than 230,000 including more than 60,000 farmer members. The organization is influential in public policy and public relations, working as an advocate for Ohio’s farm families, as well as providing various other member benefit services.
