COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Paul Harrison of Fostoria has been elected to the board of trustees of Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF). He will represent the interests of Farm Bureau members from Hancock, Hardin, Seneca and Wyandot Counties. He fills the seat vacated by Gary Baldosser of Republic, who retired after six years on the state board.

Harrison has been a member of the Seneca County Farm Bureau for 33 years. He has served on the county’s government affairs, membership and policy development committees and was the youth adviser. From 1986 to 1998 he was employed as the organization director. Harrison has been an Ambassador Award winner from OFBF and served as a county delegate to the state annual meeting.

He farmed fulltime for nearly 30 years and now assists his tenant during peak farming seasons on the land he owns.

He is currently the executive director of the Seneca Regional Planning Commission, and previously was a township trustee. He also is active with the Sandusky River Watershed Coalition and the local Community Action Commission and is in leadership at the Wesley United Methodist Church.

Harrison and his wife, Krista, are the parents of three grown children.

As trustee, Harrison will help govern the state’s largest general farm organization. OFBF’s mission is to forge a partnership between farmers and consumers. His election took place during OFBF’s 89th annual meeting held recently in Columbus.
