Pennington joins OFBF legal teamPublished on 02/08/2008 For Immediate Release COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - David Pennington has been named assistant director of agricultural law information for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF). Pennington will serve Farm Bureau members through his expertise in several legal areas, primarily labor law, migrant labor, immigration and employer/employee relations. He will also give additional attention to natural resource issues such as oil, gas and coal. He has extensive experience in drainage issues and general knowledge in other areas OFBF deals with on a daily basis. Pennington was most recently employed as the senior litigation attorney at the Wright Law firm in Dublin. He spent more than 20 years doing legal analysis, research and litigation as an Air Force attorney, where he received 10 military awards for superior performance and outstanding achievement. He lives with his wife, Cindy, in Hilliard. He holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communications from the University of Washington in Seattle, and earned his law degree and master’s degree in hospital and health services administration from Ohio State University. "David brings a great deal of legal experience to a new position within our organization,” said Keith Stimpert, OFBF senior vice president of public policy. “He will join a very talented local affairs team to help our members better understand the law and effectively respond to different legal challenges.”
