COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) will host a Youth Fun Event April 5, at Ohio’s Center of Science and Industry (COSI) in Columbus from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event also includes admission to an IMAX movie and a dance party.

“This is a fun event for any youth interested in visiting COSI and making new friends,” said Darrell Rubel, director of volunteer development. “We hope kids will explore the museum as well as leadership opportunities available through Farm Bureau.”

All youth ages 11 and older are invited to attend, and must be accompanied by an adult. Membership in the organization is not required to participate. Cost to participate is $10 per person. To register, contact the Ohio Farm Bureau office at 614-249-2400 by March 28.

“Farm Bureau has a long history in developing our young leaders,” said Rubel. “It’s going to be a fun day full of new friends, exploration and discovery.”

The vision of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation is to create a partnership between farmers and consumers. There are currently over 230,000 Farm Bureau members statewide.
