Kent State shootings to be recalled on Town Hall OhioPublished on 05/20/2008 For Immediate Release COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - Three participants in the 1970 Kent State shootings will tell their personal stories and analyze the event’s impact on America during this week’s broadcast of Town Hall Ohio. Shooting victim Alan Canfora, National Guard Commander Charles Fassinger and student Scott Mueller all were a part of the events of May 4, 1970, when members of the Ohio National Guard fired their weapons into a crowd of college protestors. Four students were killed and nine others were wounded. Town Hall Ohio airs on the following stations:
