Banking issues to be examined on Town Hall Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) - The financial condition of Ohio banks and the security of depositors' funds will be examined on this week's broadcast of Town Hall Ohio. Guests are Mike Van Buskirk, president of the Ohio Bankers League, Anne Arvia, president of Nationwide Bank, and Barbara MacLeod, professor of finance at Ohio Wesleyan University.

The panelists will discuss Ohio banks' performance, deposit safeguards, bank regulation and offer advice to depositors and investors on coping with the current stresses on the banking industry.

Town Hall Ohio was recently named the top radio program in the nation by the American Farm Bureau Federation. The weekly public affairs broadcast, which is produced by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation and sponsored by Nationwide Insurance, airs on the following stations:
