OFBF Advisory Teams

What are Advisory Teams?

Advisory teams are teams of Farm Bureau members who will discuss current issues within their team, write and recommend new policies related to their teams’ issues, offer suggestions or clarifications in the implementation of existing policies, and recommend any programming or activities needed related to their team.

Team members will also have a responsibility at the county level to report the team’s activities to the county Farm Bureau’s Public Policy action team and possibly to the Board.

Recommendations received from advisory teams are subject to approval of OFBF’s organization’s management, board of directors, policy development committee, and/or annual meeting delegates.
