CINCINNATI, Ohio (OFBF) – Judy Loudenslager of Marion has been re-elected to the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) board of trustees. As a trustee, Loudenslager will help govern the state’s largest general farm organization, which advocates for agriculture, primarily in the public policy and public relations arenas.
She will serve as Northwest Women’s trustee, representing Farm Bureau members from 24 counties. She originally joined the state board following a special election in March 2005, and will now serve her second full three-year term.
Loudenslager and her husband, Roy, farm with his brother and sister-in-law producing corn and soybeans. She is active in the Marion County Farm Bureau and has served as its president, secretary and treasurer during her 50-year membership. She also has been chairperson for the county’s government affairs and policy development programs and remains active with the county’s Farmers’ Share Breakfast and other events. She is a past Ohio Agricultural Woman of the Year.
Loudenslager is Marion County Republican Club president and a past board member of Marion General Hospital. She also worked as a counselor for the state’s unemployment bureau.
She and Roy have one daughter and three grandsons and are members of Epworth Methodist Church.Loudenslager was elected during the 91st annual meeting of the Ohio Farm Bureau held Dec. 2-4 in Cincinnati.
