Many people are aware that the Farm Bureau offers a $2,500 Property Protection Plan as part of their Farm Bureau membership, but some may not realize that you are not required to be a farmer to take part in this program. This program applies to all members and business members. The Property Protection Program has been in existence for many years and the $2,500 reward sign has become somewhat of a common and familiar sight on the rural landscape of Ohio. This program offers a $2,500 reward to a person who gives information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a person committing a felony act to or on someone else’s property. There must be signs posted on the property for the reward to be honored. There are other requirements as well, so please see the guidelines on the www.ofbf.com website or call your local Farm Bureau office for more information and for reward signs.
