COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Ohioans who are considering running for public office are invited to attend a campaign management seminar hosted by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF). The seminar is Sept. 8 and 9 at the OFBF office in Columbus and will prepare potential candidates for winning elections at the local, state and federal levels. Spouses and campaign managers are welcome.
The agenda includes establishing a campaign theme, creating the campaign organization, fund-raising and budgeting, media relations, polling and other helpful topics.
The fee is $125 for Farm Bureau members and $200 for nonmembers and includes meals, breaks and materials. The fee does not cover overnight accommodations. The registration deadline is Aug. 22. Additional information and registration forms are available at ofbf.org or by calling (614) 246-8254.
