Ohio Farm Bureau members are invited and encouraged to attend free hands-on workshops that will help them use these digital media tools in a way that makes sense in their daily lives.
Sponsored by Ohio Farm Bureau’s Center for Food and Animal Issues and conducted by Ohio Farm Bureau’s award-winning social media team, the scheduled workshops will help both beginners and advanced social media users learn more they can apply when lending their voices to online conversations about Ohio food and farming or when promoting agriculture or their business.
All workshops start at 9 a.m. and will run through approximately 4 p.m. Seats are limited and reservations are required. Laptop computers will be provided, but members may also bring their own laptops if preferred.
All attendees are required to sign up for free social media accounts prior to the training session. Those providing their own laptops are also encouraged to download software that will be used in training. Complete details, requirements, registration materials and step-by-step instructions are available at http://bit.ly/cfaismtraining.
Continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided. All attendees will also receive OFBF’s newly published training booklet “Discover your Social Brand: An Ohio Farm Bureau Guide to creating, managing and maintaining your Facebook Business Page.”
