OFBF Awards $2500 in Butler County

$2500 OFBF REWARD presented to Butler Co. Resident

Butler County Farm Bureau is pleased to announce that the $2500 Property Protection member benefit is hard at work in Butler County.

On Wed., Jan. 23, 2012, a check for $2500 was presented to Kyle Payne for providing information that led to the arrest and conviction of a crime committed on BCFB member Tom Theobald’s property. The Theobald family, owners of Barn-n-Bunk Farm Market, had a gator stolen on their property last fall. The family had their $2500 rewards signs posted on their property. Kyle provided information to the Trenton Policy Department, which made him eligible for the $2500 reward.

The reward program helps deter crime and is a member benefit for Farm Bureau members. Butler County Sheriff Jones has been a strong supporter of the program and has helped promote the program in the past with BCFB President Gail Lierer.

Shown in the pictures (L-R) are: Ohio Farm Bureau Regional Supervisor Paul Lyons, Tom Theobald, Kyle Payne, Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones, Butler County Farm Bureau President Gail Lierer and Organization Director Christy Montoya.
