The Huron County Farm Bureau sponsors agriculture-related grants from $25 to $250 to teachers from any grade level in a Huron County School. The grant must be for the teaching of agriculturally related subjects. Ag-related is defined as having to do with the production of crops and livestock, and the use of those products in our society, management of land and the environment, and agriculture-related careers. Some suggested uses for the grant money would be books, videos, lab materials, workshops, or field trips. The total amount awarded countywide will be up to $1,250.00. Completed applications need to be returned by March 15, 2012 to Huron County Farm Bureau, 530 S. Main St., Oberlin, OH 44074 or they can be faxed to 440-775-2921. If you have any questions, please contact the Farm Bureau office at 888-292-6442 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
