Partnership Creates Ag Day for Inner City Youth

Clark County Farm Bureau is very excited to announce a unique, new partnership with the United Way which will create a strong community tie between farmers and consumers. Planning is underway for an Ag Day, which will be a partnership of Farm Bureau, United Way, Lincoln Schools and Promise Neighborhood. The event will be held Aug. 13 at the Clark County Fairgrounds.

This day will be a great introduction to agriculture for students attending Lincoln Schools for the summer. The students will get to sit on tractors, learn where food comes from and get close to livestock.

We are looking for Farm Bureau members who are willing to volunteer their time, animals or equipment Aug. 13 for the event. If you would live to volunteer, call the office at 855-335-1471.
