Audit committee members pictured are looking over the accounts for the 2011-2012 fiscal year. We operate on a July 1 through June 30 fiscal year. An audit is conducted every July by Farm Bureau members in the county office. A step by step process is utilized so committee members can cross check income and expenses. A very detailed audit worksheet is used which is developed by Ohio Farm Bureau. Prior to the audit, information is sent to Ohio Farm Bureau’s accounting department to check for errors. The process runs very smoothly and members may be assured that all steps are taken to ensure our financial situation.
