Candidates were recently recognized by Butler County Farm Bureau for the Ohio PAC designation as “Friend of Agriculture” at the BCFB annual meeting held Sept. 13. This designation is given to farm friendly candidates through a process for incumbents and open seat candidates. The “Friend of Agriculture” designation is used for Statehouse Candidates.
Honored at the meeting by BCFB President Gail Lierer and BCFB Public Policy Action Team Leader Steve Bartels were: Tim Derickson; State Rep Dist. 53, Margaret Conditt; State Rep. Dist. 55, and State Senator Bill Coley, 4th Ohio Senate District. Peter Beck; State Rep. Dist. 67 also received the designation.
Congratulations to the deserving candidates. Butler County is fortunate to have caring legislators that are supportive to Butler County Farm Bureau and agriculture.
John Boehner; Ohio’s 8th Congressional District Representative was recently designated by the American Farm Bureau as a “Friend of Farm Bureau”. This designation is for congressional candidates that are farm friendly candidates through a process for incumbents and open seat candidates. Congressman Boehner will be honored in the near future.
