The Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau will be set up at the R.O.A.R (Rural Ohio Appalachia Revisted) event at Lake Hope State Park on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. This event is open to the public and will have a wide variety of booths and events to enjoy. There will be food, crafts, music, and traditional skills. This day is designed to provide free and inexpensive fun for kids of all ages while celebrating both the past and present.
Activities include flint knappers, soap makers, painters, a broom maker, local history, archery, an antique tractor show and delicious food. There will also be family friendly activites including Halloween fun for the kids, pumpkin rolling, pumpkin painting, and other fun.
Visitors can also take a tour of the New Lake Hope Lodge, and try the new restaurant menu and enjoy the fall foliage in the park.
