COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Pam Haley of West Salem has been re-elected for a second, three-year term as Northeast Women’s Trustee for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF).
Haley will represent Farm Bureau members from 20 northeastern Ohio counties. She will help govern the state’s largest and most inclusive farm organization.
Haley and her husband, Mike, farm with his father. They produce corn, soybeans, wheat, hay and own a registered Simmental cow herd. They also operate a small trucking business. She is a crop insurance adjuster for Rural Community Insurance Service. Haley has been a member of Wayne County Farm Bureau for eight years and has been involved with the county’s membership, farm tour and State Issue 2 activities. She also was a member of Stark County Farm Bureau for six years and was a 2009 OFBF Discussion Meet finalist as a participant in the Young Ag Professionals program. Haley is involved with 4-H and is secretary-treasurer of Ohio Simmental Association. She received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from The Ohio State University.
Haley was re-elected during the 94th annual meeting of OFBF, held Nov. 28-30 in Columbus. During the meeting, Farm Bureau delegates established policy on a variety of agricultural, environmental, economic and social issues.
