Please attend the Membership Kick-off and EASE (Engage, Acknowledge, Share, Earn trust) Workshop at St. John Lutheran Church (Corner of US 6 and SR 66) on Tuesday, January 22 at 7 pm. (Doughbox cookies provided.) Talk is not cheap. Conversation is powerful. It can change opinions, it can enlighten and it can inspire additional conversation. It’s one of the most powerful human interactions. Learn how to turn today’s war of words about food, farming and agriculture into a conversation led by the people who know the subject best–farmers. Dave White, with the Center for Food and Animal Issues at Ohio Farm Bureau, will provide a workshop that will help farmers respond to consumer questions about agriculture. The program developed by the US Farmers and Ranchers Alliance, details steps farmers can take to effectively build understanding of agriculture and navigate difficult discussions. Locally, and in Washington, the Ohio Farm Bureau is there, watching out for the interests of Ohio farmers and rural residents. Please come to share the issues that concern you and help strengthen our organization and farming way of life. Reservations requested, not required. Call 419.445.0723 or 800.783.2873. E-mail: [email protected].
