Daniel & Douglas Brown | (740) 446-1960 | 990 State Route 160 | Gallipolis
About Gallipolis: Settled in 1790, it’s the second oldest settlement in the Northwest Territory. We are located on the banks of the Ohio River. Gallipolis is the county seat for Gallia County. Our county is a cross section that includes agriculture, electric power plants, Holzer Medical Center and the University of Rio Grande.
Community values: We still exist as a small, American community where connections to family, friends, neighbors, schools and churches make us feel we are contributing to make life better for everyone.
The most rewarding part about what we do: Being there to assist our policyholders in a time of a small or large need in their lives, maybe an automobile accident, a fire or other property loss, a death or planning a retirement. We strive to make a bad situation better for those that need help and guidance.
Working for Nationwide: We are third generation agents for Nationwide. Our grandfather Waldo Brown was an agent, our dad was an agent and we desire to have the fourth generation follow in our footsteps. Our agency is 62 years old.
The best local place to eat: We insure many good restaurants. Our favorite places are Crossroads Bistro, El Toril Mexican and Tuscany Cuccini.
Your favorite Ohio food: We cannot say we have a favorite. Fast food has its place, but we prefer home-cooked food.
Why join Farm Bureau: Since agriculture is very important in our county, farmers need to be a part of their own destiny. Farm Bureau for years has been there to protect the market place for the benefit of the family farm. Nobody can survive without food.
Ohio Farm Bureau is a sponsor of Nationwide and endorses Nationwide policies, many of which are discounted for members of Ohio Farm Bureau. Please ask a nearby agent for more details, or the Nationwide website specifically for Farm Bureau members.
