One presentation took place in Marion County. Steven Mattix provided information to the Marion County Sheriff’s office that led to the arrest of an individual committing two counts of theft on the property of Marion County Farm Bureau member, Donald Mattix.
Other reward checks have recently been presented in Union, Highland and Franklin counties.
The Ohio Farm Bureau Property Protection Program pays a reward to both Farm Bureau members and nonmembers who provide information that leads to the arrest and conviction of someone who committed arson, malicious injury to property, burglary or other felonies on a Farm Bureau member’s property. It also is paid for the arrest and felony conviction of those who steal a Farm Bureau member’s car, truck, tractor or self-propelled equipment. Learn more.
