Hancock County Farm Bureau Makes donation to City Mission

The Hancock County Farm Bureau board of trustees voted to make a donation to the City Mission of ground beef to help them stock their freezer. A total of 314 pounds were donated.  At a recent board meeting members discussed how they could help the community and raise awareness about agriculture.

The meat was purchased from board member, Adam Kirian. He raises freezer beef on his farm. Local meat processor, D & H Meats of Vanlue, donated the processing.
