The Hancock County Farm Bureau has awarded the following 2013 “Betty Hildebrand” Memorial Scholarships of $700 each.
The scholarship is for a student entering the field of agriculture and has been awarded to Britta Fenstermaker, Michael Tong and Jacob Biery. Fenstermaker is a graduate of Mc Comb High School as of May 25. She is planning to attend The Ohio State University, ATI in Wooster and major in livestock production & management/Agronomy. She is the daughter of Randy and Brenda Fenstermaker of Mc Comb, Ohio.
Tong will graduate from Arcadia High School in June. He is planning to attend The University of Northwestern Ohio and major in Agricultural Equipment Technology. He is the son of Dave and Mary Tong of Arcadia, Ohio.
Biery is a graduate of Cory-Rawson High School as of May 26. He is planning to attend The University of Northwestern Ohio and major in Diesel Technology. He is the son of Mike Biery and Kathy Biery of Rawson, Ohio.
The Hancock County Farm Bureau board of trustees would like to congratulate these students and commend them on their efforts and contributions to the community and their schools!
