As spring planting season is upon us, we would like to make our members aware of a project that we are currently implementing throughout Hancock County on county and township roads. We have purchased 75 “Caution…Farm Machinery” signs like the one pictured here. We are working with the county engineer to get these signs distributed and placed throughout the county. As you may remember, years ago we did this same project. These signs were triangular shaped and need replaced.
The new signs have been purchased by the Hancock County Farm Bureau and you should start seeing them being placed throughout the county soon.
Many members have asked if they could contribute to this costly project. You may do so by donating $30, the cost of one sign. To date, we have 16 signs that have been committed to be purchased. If you would like to make a donation for a sign, please make checks payable to the Hancock County Farm Bureau and mail them to 100 Hopewell Ave., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883 by July 1.
We hope you find this a worthwhile project and will consider making a donation.
