Champaign County Annual Meeting was held Sept. 12, and we had a nice meal, a good policy discussion, and elected two new Truestees; Kevin Williams, and Josh Yoder.  We gave out several awards, including: Farm Bureau member of the year – Dave Crawford, Business of the year – Champaign County Sheriff Department; and we recognized the retirement of our county secretary, Kay Chandler.

We also gave 3 scholarships this year.  Maggie Neer, daughter of Kevin and Stacey Neer of Mechanicsburg; Logan Rees, son of Joe and Stacey Rees of Urbana; and Bryce McDaniels, son of Tim and Julie McDaniels of Urbana.
