COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Ellen Joslin of Sidney was re-elected to her fourth, three-year term as a state trustee for Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) during the organization’s 95th annual meeting Dec. 4 to 6 in Columbus. She represents Farm Bureau members in District 10, which consists of Auglaize, Logan, Mercer and Shelby counties. Joslin originally joined the Farm Bureau board in 2000 as Northwest Women’s Trustee.
She and her husband, Rob, grow corn, soybeans and wheat. She has been a Farm Bureau member for more than 30 years and has held numerous leadership positions within the organization.
She also has been involved with other farm groups including the Ohio Soybean Council. She is on the Farm Credit Mid-America Versailles office advisory committee and is active with various local and regional land use organizations. She attended the General Motors Institute and Edison State College and graduated from Urbana University with a bachelor’s degree in organization management. The Joslins are the parents of one child.
Ohio Farm Bureau is the state’s largest and most inclusive farm organization. Its mission is to forge a partnership between farmers and consumers.
