TOPICS: ANHYDROUS AMMONIA AND CHEMICAL SAFETY
Theft of Anhydrous Ammonia is a huge problem in and around our rural areas. More and more criminals are using this chemical in the manufacturing of Methamphetamine. You read or watch about another lab shut down in the news all the time. But it is just not the Meth labs that are causing trouble; rural America is also seeing an increase in the number of Anhydrous Ammonia releases. These releases have caused serious injuries to emergency personal as well as the criminals attempting to steal the Anhydrous Ammonia.
Join us for this informational session that will teach you how to protect your farms. We will also have a demonstration from working police dogs. Detectives Steve Durham and Scott Baker from the Warren County Drug task force will join us for this presentation.
Your attendance at this seminar will meet your 2014 requirement as outlined in your agreement to participate in the Comp Management/OFBF Group Rating Workers’ Compensation Program.
Light refreshments for the meeting will be provided.
Please have your Workers’ Comp Identification number with you when you register at the meeting.
